About OPXLA

The Official Pixel Army was officially founded on Sunday 26th August 2018 and publicly launched on Thursday February 14th 2019.

The idea for OPXLA came to milkypixel in her final year of high school (2007). Ever since then, the opportunity to make an all inclusive community for gaming content creators in ANZ and around the world has bubbled inside of her, threatening to overflow. Until one day it did. That day, milkypixel started working on a her grand idea.

Blood, sweat, tears, sleepless nights, hypoglycaemic attacks and more were lovingly poured into this massive project, and here it is for everyone to see and be apart of.

OPXLA is a community filled with members committed to the growth and positive potential of the video games industry’s bright future. We are a community who believe in The Pixel Philosophy, not just the image of the individual. We want every Pixel to personally and professionally shine in this growing industry, and we are here to help you do it.

This was the dream, and the dream became reality. But the work doesn’t stop now. We will still be putting 110% into this community; events, charity fundraisers, networking, and so so much more, so don’t you worry Pixels, it’s only uphill from here.
